Ministry of transport and communications is going to deprive the television company "TAN" of its license on right to broadcast

Ministry of transport and communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan is going to cancel license on right to broadcast of the television company “TAN”. Kazakhstan today received this information from the committee on communications and informatization of the ministry of transport and communications of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

According to the committee, the television company “TAN” did not fulfill requirements on elimination of revealed violations in its work.

As it was reported earlier, on March 4, 2002, the commission of the committee on communications and informatization revealed facts of violations of legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as a result of this license of the LRP “Television company “TAN” was temporarily suspended.

According to committee representatives, the television company did not eliminate the mentioned violations and shortcomings, and due to this reason license of the television channel and its regional representatives on right to broadcast is cancelled.

Corresponding decree is being prepared for signing. For the time being representatives of the ministry of transport and communications refuse to give comments on the situation.
