Internews Kazakhstan is a representative office of
an international non-profit organization Internews Network and
supports open media in Kazakhstan:

fosters independent media in Kazakhstan,

trains journalists and station managers in world standards and
international practices of professional journalism,

produces innovative television programming on local and
international topics, and

uses the media to reduce conflict within and between countries.
The company Internews programs are based on the conviction that
vigorous and diverse mass media form an essential cornerstone of
a free, fair and open society.
Internews is headquartered in the US (Arcata,
California) and has representative offices and/or implements
projects through partner organizations in 30 countries. Internews is
primarily supported by grants provided by private and public
foundations. Donations to Internews Network are tax deductible in
the US. Internews currently has offices, and/or work through partner
organizations in a variety of countries including USA, CIS, South
and Southeast Asia as well as Eastern and Western Europe, the Middle
East and Africa.

Internews Kazakhstan that has been issued since 1998. Now it's
available in Russian only, but in future we plan to provide it with

Kazakhstan's TV and radio stations, their activities and contact
details (address, phone numbers and names).
