The Monitoring of violation
of freedom of speech in Kazakhstan in June 2000
In June, International Foundation
of freedom of speech “Adil soz” received 73 reports on facts of
violation of freedom of rights. 32 of them represented violation of
journalists’ rights and mass media, 39 – cases of violations, in
which the mass media was incriminated in, and 2 – information on
changes in the legislation, which worsen the state of mass media.
